Receiving a call from Japan 2007/8/5 17:59
Hihi...just a question, I have a friend living in Japan. We wanted to chat on the phone, but I'm not really sure how are they charging.
Anyone knows whether it is expensive to call overseas? If my friend called me, do both of us need to pay the bill or only the party who is calling is paying?

Appreciate some advise...(erm...ok i tried checking with my service provider online but cant seem to find any answer...)
thanks thanks!

Skype is a service that lets you call for free between two computers connected to the internet or at very low rates from a computer to a regular phone.

In most countries, only the caller has to pay for a phone call, unless it is a collect-call. I understand that in some countries incoming calls on mobile phones are not free for the callee.

To make sure, inquire with your phone company.
