Momotaro/Uraja festival 2007/8/17 01:27
I visited Okayama and got to participate in the Uraja festival. I'd like to get the music. Can anyone tell me who sings the song and the title of the song?
Thank you,
Elizabeth

I wonder what song you are referring to. Apparently not the traditional children's song, right? ("Momotaro-san, momotaro-san, okishi ni tsuketa kibidango...")

I checked the webpage of the festival and they carried some videoclips of past festivals.

Are you referring to the song of top-right or that of bottom-left?

Uraja song 2007/8/21 02:15
Actually, what I'm looking for is the song on this YouTube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZO-Hznu3Bg
Any ideas on who the singer is or what the actual name of the song is?
Thank you

I think it is same as bottom-right one. According to the festival's official webpage, it is called "Uraja Genkyoku," which can be used as a base music for dancers. (They are allowed to rearrange the song) But I couldn't get any info about singers/composers. My guess is it is sung by local unknown artist.

Anyhow, you can buy CD via its official site.
