JR Pass 7 vs 14 day Pass

Trip is - 5 days travel Osoka to Hiroshima to Kyoto to Tokyo. Then 7 days in Toyko with a couple of day trips to Kamakura and Takayama. We hope to include a round trip of Dewa Sanzan/Nikko/Chuzenji Lake.
As you can see we intend to travel periodically over the 14 days. Which pass would be best on my current arrangements???

I strongly recommend against visiting Takayama in a day trip from Tokyo! I recommend to stay there at least one night.
A 14-day Japan Rail Pass would be the best value.
