Hi, a friend and me plan to go on a back packing trip that will start and end in tokyo.. We're hoping to visit hokaido too and then head back to tokyo.. Any suggestion on itinerary? Places that we should visit? Never been to japan before. We'll probably be there for 2weeks.. Thanks

by backpacking do you mean hiking and camping or do you mean travelling using backpacks as your luggage?

Sorry.. By saying backpacking is just more on a budget travel.You know, Hostels staying etc.. Wanna soak in the atmosphere traveling from Tokyo to Hokkaido and back. Don't really know how to plan for it..
