photos of the shinjuku night skyline? 2007/9/2 22:12
I will be in Shinjuku next month and would like to take night shots of all the skyscrapers in the area. Where is a nice high point to get these?

I'm staying at Toyoko Inn kabukicho but I think that place is a little short.

If it is open at the time you are there, the Tokyo Metropolitan government buildings has an observation tower you can go to. Of course you can't get a photo of the TMG from the TMG itself, unless you took a photo of the other tower, simply go to another location to do so.

Any high rise on the east side of Shinjuku Station that faces west without any high obstruction, you can also get some street views from the ground level as well.

I think that the bar in the Odakyu Century Southern Tower hotel might be a place to consider. As I recall, it's on about the 20th floor or higher. They might like it if you have a beverage though!
