Nara Centennial Hall

I will be travelling from Kyoto to Nara to watch a concert at the Nara Centennial Hall. Is it far to walk from the JR Nara station to this building or should I taxi it? Also, after the concert, do the trains run fairly frequently (and late at night) back to Kyoto JR Station (the concert will probably finish around 9 or 10pm). Thanks!

Nara Centennial Hall is right in front of JR Nara Station (west exit).
The last train from Nara to Kyoto leaves at 23:22 (11:22pm) so I think you have plenty of time to get back.
