What is the best time to see the snow monkeys in the snow, but also visit Kyoto?

did you first try to check for snow monkeys in Japan- guide ? look at:

obviously you have to be there in January-February..not the best time to walk around Kyoto.
you do know ,do you, that these monkeys can be dangerous?

February sees the most snow. Kyoto is nice around the year!

February is the best time to see them, and late Autumn is good mood.
I'm from Nagano.
