Hi,
I would like to check whether 4500 yen/day for lunch and dinner is sufficient?.is it will be difficult to find a place to eat with that budget?
Thanks.

Unless you go to posh restaurants, 4500 yen is fine. Lunch 1000-1500yen and dinner 2000-3000yen.

I usually spend about 500 to 750yen a meal when i'm holidaying in japan. But just avoid restaurants in the malls. Gyu don, Ramen and conveyor belt sushi (kaiten sushi) are always cheap and good choices.

To me, it's more than enough. Lunch can start at 600-1000 yen for decent meals like ramen, bentos, etc.
For dinner I get by with 2000 yen. Of course, some days you can go cheaper (like Japanese fast food such as gyuudon), so that you can try something more expensive (like a nice yakiniku course for 5000 yen).
So definitely it's more than enough.
