Kyoto to Kawaguchi-Ko to Kamakura

Hi, I got another question.

On early October I want to hit from Kyoto to Kawaguchi-Ko, which is the fastest way? I know there's a good train connection, but in a guide I saw that it "might" be faster to take the train from Kyoto to Mishima and then the bus to Kawaguchi-Ko. Unfortunately, I can't find anywhere an english site with bus timetables.

Also, the following day or evening I want to hit from Kawaguchi-Ko to Kamakura, again the question is whether to take the train or a combination of bus and trains.

I want to hit from Kyoto to Kawaguchi-Ko, which is the fastest way?

By shinkansen to Mishima. Then by (train and) bus to Kawaguchiko, as explained here:

The fastest way from Kawaguchiko to Kamakura is by the same bus back to Gotemba and then by JR trains via Kozu and Ofuna to Kamakura.
