Sakura House Ikebukuro 2007/9/13 06:23
Hi
I'm visiting Japan for 4 weeks, and planning to stay in Tokyo the first week. I've found a hotel named Sakura House i Ikebukuro, which seems clean, cheap and not far from Ikebukuro station which is one of the major trainstations. Has anyone stayed there before? Is it located in a "OK" area?

Is it the Sakura Hotel in Ikebukuro? Sakura House also runs youth hostels and private apartments.

From what I read it is a new place. It all really depends on where you plan to travel in Tokyo.

If it's SAKURA HOTEL IKEBUKURO, it's also run by SAKURA group. This hotel used to be called "Business Hayashi Hotel" and located at the threshold of "station area" and "residential district." Though not so close to the station, it is an OK area to stay, I think.
