Miyajima-one day or two?

Still planning my trip to Japan 1.oct-26.oct, and want to visit Miyajima. I'm wondering if I should spend one day ot two?

Most tourists visit Miyajima in a half day or day trip from Hiroshima. Especially if you like to travel at a quick pace, half a day should be sufficient to see all major sights.
But if you prefer to experience the island at a slow pace in more detail, I recommend to spend at least 24 hours on the island, including an overnight stay. I imagine two nights and one full day to be very pleasant, too.
