problem in night bus reservation

Since I and my friend plan to take a night bus from Tokyo to Kyoto (on the night of Sep. 24th), I looked into these two sites http://www.tokyohostels.com/night-bus-tokyo-kyoto/night-bus-... and http://www.orion-tour.co.jp/english/rsv/The problem is I sent my request through the reservation form and e-mail twice and got no reply at all. Should I give up and book for another night at hostel? Or is there any chances to get a night bus ticket at the departure point? Looking forward to your answers. Thanks in advance. :)

be aware that the companies you are inquiring about aren't necessarily the cheapest. For example, www.123bus.net has some better deals. Or is there any chances to get a night bus ticket at the departure point?Every night bus that I have taken had no way to purchase tickets at the bus. Even if they did, if the bus was full you'd be in trouble finding lodging for the night.
