Hi Sally, there are many ways to travel between Fukuoka and Kobe. One easy way is to take the Shinkansen from Shin-Kobe Station to Hakata Station in Fukuoka. The one way fare is about 14000yen and takes about 2.5 hours.
There are also highway buses, flying, etc.
