Foliage in December

I am going to Japan on December 5th. I read on this site that I might be able to see the tale end of the season in Tokyo or Osaka. Where am I most likey to see the best scenery.

I recommend Tokyo, Kyoto and Kamakura. I don't think that Osaka has many autumn foliage spots. Once you get to Japan, I recommend to ask the local travel information desks for recommendations.
