What does a~in mean? 2007/9/24 04:55
First of all what does a-in (アーイン) mean? Second, I was wondering if a jguy (of course, a jguy you know.) holds you from behind and says ''a-in''?

It doesn't really *mean* anything... I guess it's "a iiiiin," isn't it? Then it's just a funny sound that a Japanese comedian Ken Shimura makes in one of his routines. Maybe you could find one of his performances on YouTube or some place? It's pretty silly though :)

does this help? 2007/9/27 07:09
A ー in a Japanese word is simply a way of making a sound in a word spelled out in katakana into a ''long'' sound.

アーイン doesn't mean anything specific that I know, more likely it is a sound written out (for example, something like ''ahhhh'' in English)
