Use JR Pass on bus to/from Kawaguchiko?

I will be traveling from Tokyo to Kawaguchiko then onto Kyoto. Since the train journey to and from Kawaguchiko requires the use of non-JR train (Fujikyu line), I plan to travel from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko by bus, then Kawaguchiko to Mishima by bus. I will then travel to Kyoto by train.
Can the JR pass be used on any bus services to and from Kawaguchiko?
