I'm going to visit Hamamatsu on 14-18 Oct after thatI have planned to see my friend in tokyo by leave for Tokyo on 19 Oct early morning, any train to go there? how much it cost ?should I reserve the seat?

By shinkansen (direct hikari train):
90 minutes, 8000 Yen, seat reservations possible
By local trains (2 transfers along the way):
4.5 hours, 4310 Yen, seat reservations not possible
By bus:
4.5 hours, 3770 Yen, seat reservation mandatory
