What is the average male teenage height?

I read that it was 5'7 but it was an old report. I have heard they are actually a bit taller then Americans. Im 5'4 and 14. I want to know if I will be considered short there or not. By time I go I will probably be 5'5-5'7 (a year) so im not too worried but I am curious.

According to a 1995 survey, 20 year old men are an average of 171cm (5'7 to 5'8), while 20 year old women are an average of 158cm (5'2).

According to a school letter, the average heights of all male students throughout Japan as of 2006 are as follows;

Junior High 1st Year (ages 12 to 13): 152.6cm
JH 2nd: 159.8
JH 3rd: 165.3
Senior High 1st: 168.5
SH 2nd: 170.0
SH 3rd (ages 17 to 18): 170.9

Devide by 2.54 to figure out how many inches these are.

However, teenagers' heights varies dramatically. There are boys much shorter than these and there are those much taller than these.

I'm 6,2" and sixteen... I plan to work in Japan in a few years. Will I be a total freak show? There's a big chance I'll grow inbetween now and then, so it'll be worse :/
