Free and easy to hokkaido in early jan

HI

I am keen to do free and easy to hokkaido in early Jan. But I do not know Japanese so I hope to seek advice on if it is easy to do free and easy to hokkaido.

Intend to do ski and also do sightseeing but not sure which is good ski resort to start with.

would appreciate advice.

Millions of foreigners without Japanese language skills visit Hokkaido on their own without any major troubles. If you prepare your trip well in advance, you should be able to do the same:
