Large Foreign Companies in Japan

Hi,
I'm trying to move to Japan. I'm a mid 30's professional.
Can anyone suggest the names of larger companies that are known to hire foreign (western) employees. For example GE, Symantec both have postings at the moment for English speaking natives to work in Japan.

In what field? There are all kinds of companies which hire foreign nationals here. Amex, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Cisco, Lloyds bank, many other banks, insurance companies and finance companies are here.
Generally many of them prefer to hire people who are already in Japan, with a visa already if possible, or do intra-company transfers.
