Hi I will be going to Kyoto/Nara for 4 weeks starting in the 3rd week of Dec. What will the weather be like as it will be winter? does it snow in Kyoto at this time of the year?

Average daytime high temperatures are around 11 degrees. Nighttime lows around 3 degrees. Snow is rare, but sometimes it does snow in Kyoto in December.
