I just read on the website that the NEX now cost 1500yen to go from Nartia to Shinjuku. Am I seeing things?
The NEX+Sucia package doesn't really appeal to me as I'll probably do more walking. Can someone tell me if this offer is for real?

The nex ride portion is only 1500yen but must be purchased as part of a package that includes a Suica card. So you have to pay 3500yen in all.
Even if you plan on walking around you'll most likely have to take the train once and a while, otherwise the Suica card can be used for other things such as purchases at stores, vending machines etc, it doesn't have to be used for train fares only.

The regular fare on the NEX from Narita to Shinjuku is 3,110 yen. You're getting a 2,000 yen worth Suica card for 490 yen when you purchase a NEX/Suica combo. Do the math!
