Hi,
Will the bamboos in the Sagano Bamboo Grove be still green in Dec?
Will the surrounding area be like autumn (red and yellow leaves) or more like beginning of winter and the trees have already withered?

Bamboo is an evergreen plant!
Autumn colors in the Arashiyama area are usually best in late November and maybe early December. This year, the colors are behind their average schedule, so I suspect that Arashiyama will still be in autumn colors into December.
