Im planning to visit Hokkaido on 12 January 2008 for 6days + 3 more days in Tokyo. This is my first time to Japan and it is suppose to be my honeymoon trip. But unfortunately my friends have been telling me that Jan would be very cold and may not be advisable to go. So im currently in a dilemma of whether to proc eed with my trip in Jan or to wait until end March....By the way im from Malaysia .

Yes, if you're from Malaysia, Japanese winter is not so pleasurable to you. If you can wait until the end of March, I think it is much better. You may be able to see cherry blossom, too :)
