Specifically used kimono, I want to buy them as gifts before heading back to the states. Also directions from sapporo station would be great since I'm coming from Otaru.

There could be more but I found one nation-wide used Kimono shop near Susukino station. Tansu-ya 1F, Norbesa 5-1-1 Minami-Sanjo-Nishi Chuo-ku, Sapporo 11am-9pm 011-219-3700 (1 block north from Sapporo-Ekimae street) Map is only in Japanese. (the top one on the page) http://tansuya.jp/sh_toko.html

I went there but did not find what I was looking for. The shop was very small and had only adult kimono. Most of it was bagged up so you couldn't even see the whole thing & not very much was used. Friend pointed me to Kirakuya in Sapporo. You can also buy online. Kind of expensive but they had everything you could want. :) http://www.kirakuya21.com/
