Hi, I'm going to be sending a package to this address; Tokyo Musashino-shi Sakai x-x-x Japan.
Does this look correct to you ? Do I need a 7 digit postal code ?

It would probably get there OK, but the address is written backwards.
The preferred way would be:
x-x-x Sakai
Musashino-shi
Tokyo 180-0022
Japan
