Does anyone know how to find riding stables near Nagoya? Especially for experienced and serious riders, not beginners?

Sorry I don't know. There is horse racing place but never heard of a stable for the public in Nagoya.

Try Aichi Bokujo. We only glimpsed the horses as we were at a bbq. It did not look to be much for experienced riders though.

It is out toward Toyota City

Aichi Ranch 2008/2/18 13:42
Hi,
I read this a few weeks ago and took the advice of the person a few answers above and went to Aichi ranch.

It was well worth it. Free to get in (though the horse riding was a bit naff- 1000y to sit on a horse and be led once round a circle. Am told that if you book in advance then you can do real horse riding but I guess that would be a lot more expensive).

The animals there were really cool and I drank the milk from the farm.

All in all, I really recommend this place.

I've blogged about it here and have a few photos too- http://cutetwirler.blogspot.com/2008/02/5-reasons-why-you-sh...
