Hi,
This will be my first time in Japan and I'm thinking of going from Kyoto to Oodaru Spa Amagisou in Yugano, Shizuoka with my JR pass.
I'm only spending one night there and then the next day get the train to Tokyo.
1)Is it worthy to go there for one night? 2) how can I get there from Kyoto then back to Tokyo? 3)Anyone been there before? Any great sigtseeing places around instead of the onsen?
Thanks sooooo much for all your helps and tips!

It is located in the area of the Kawazu Nanadaru (Kawazu Seven Waterfalls) on the Izu Peninsula. Quite nice! Here are some basics about the area: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6313.htmlTo get there, get off the shinkansen at Atami Station and take the train down to Kawazu (the trip beyond Ito is not covered by the Japan Rail Pass). From Kawazu Station, take a bus (or maybe the ryokan can pick you up). The trip from Kyoto to Yugano takes about 4 hours. The trip from Yugano to Tokyo about 3 hours.
