well, if that is actually kaNgaemasu (since there is no plain ''m'' in japanese I am guessing that is what you meant) then it means something along the lines of ''I am also thinking of you''. As far as I remember, itsudemo means anytime, which doesn't seem like the right fit for the sentence, but since it is a response to something you said, in context it ought to make sense, probably the same time reference you used. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

It looks like an attempt to say "I also am thinking about you all the time." But then it should be:

- Watashi mo anata ni tsuite itsumo kangaete imasu.

"itsudemo" any time, at any point in time
"itsumo" always (continuously or habitually), constantly

Hey AK, is that how you do progressive forms of verbs then, -te form followed by iru? Would "was thinking" be kangaete imashta for example?

Yes, if you want to say "I am (now) thinking," it would be:
- Kangaete imasu (polite speech)
- Kangaete iru (informal speech)

and "I was thinking," then:
- Kangaete imashita (polite speech)
- Kangaete ita (informal speech).
