Can someone translate... 2007/12/29 02:18
I'm trying to e-mail my old host family, and their English isn't that great so I'm trying to use as much Japanese as I can. However, I'm sad to say that my Japanese teacher at school has only covered so much. X_X I'm trying to ask, "What have you been doing recently?" So would anyone be able to translate that question?

"What have you been doing recently?" (literally)
- Saikin nani wo shite imashita ka?

"How have you been doing recently?"
- Saikin dou shite imashita ka?

...or you could say:
"Have there been some interesting events/things recently?"
- Saikin nani ka tanoshii koto wa arimashita ka?
