Can someone please give me a little info on Nerima? I've searched, and the only info I can find is that it's NW of Shinjuku.
I've found a private hostel there for $400 a month, and I want to book it, but I need to know how far Nerima is from other places in Tokyo - Akihabara, Ueno, Ikebukuro, etc.
Can someone give me time estimations via subway or train? Is Nerima a good place to stay, or is it like a farm city?
Thanks for the info

Nerima is considered part of central Tokyo, although at the NW outskirts of central Tokyo. It is well connected to more central Tokyo by several train and subway lines. A matter of a few minutes to get to Ikebukuro Station on the Yamanote Loop.
