Confirm translation?

So here's the deal. My friend is a drummer in a band and he want's to tattoo little text in his leg. He asked me to translate sentence for him, but I'm not yet so good in japanese. The sentence is;

"I play drums until I die"

I got another friend of mine to translate it in japanese, but we aren't sure it's correct;

"私は、私が死ぬまで、ドラムを演奏します"

So if anyone would care to check the spelling and all, I would really appreciate it.

"私は、私が死ぬまで、ドラムを演奏します" Is redundant and too feminine.

You should say
死ぬまで　ドラム　を　やるぜ

(I'll) play the drum until (I) die.

This is more natural and masculine.

The translation given by your friend is grammatically correct, but is a very plain sentence, very square-sounding, not fit for a tattoo.

The one given by Tokyonet is quite masculine, but stil is a lengthy sentence.

For tattoo that looks "cool," I'd suggest something like:
ドラム命 (literally, "drums - life," meaning, that's what you live for).

...in any case, tattoos are forever, so think hard whether you'd want something that's important in a language you don't quite know :(

AK, I actually wouldn't tattoo something in me with another language. But I can't change mind of my friend :)
