Staying at a hotel. 2008/1/3 06:42
Hey I was wondering how long you are allowed to stay at a hotel. Me and my friends are planning on going for 3 weeks, do hotels let you stay that long?

I don't think that many hotels have a maximum for length of stay defined, as long as you pay and rooms are available.

I don't know about Japan, as I've only stayed in hostels. However, the times I've been in the US and Canada, I've stayed in hotels between 3 and 5 weeks.

Try booking for that many weeks - if it oes through, you're good to go. If in doubt, call the hotel in mind and ask.

Suggest you e-mail the hotel and ask if they will offer you a better rate considering the length of your stay.
