Cost of Living Calculation Help

Hello all. I am currently initiating my salary negotiations for my move to Japan. I want to have a reliable source for cost of living (the more sources the better).
I just want to make sure that my new salary will at least be equivalent to what I am currently being paid. I'm living in Long Beach and will be moving to Osaka.
My company is Japanese but I am working for the US division, which is who will be paying my salary while I am over there.

You'll have to give more information, such as if the company pays for accommodation, utilites (gas, electricity, water, etc), medical, transport, etc.
Also if the negotiated figure will be before or after tax.
