Buying travel insurance at Narita?

I checked the Narita airport site and it seems they offer travel insurance. Has anyone experienced buying insurance at the airport and are the prices similar to what you would expect buying it at travel agents?

I often buy insurance at the airport and find the prices to be competitive. You do need to be a resident of Japan though- they ask for your alien registration card, an address in Japan and landline phone number- my cellphone number wasn't enough so I had to give them my company's phone number as we don't have a landline in our apartment.
