Karaoke bars?

I will be visiting Tokyo in March to watch the Red Sox play the Oakland A's at the Tokyo Dome.
I love to sing karaoke in the USA. I would like to find a place where I can sing karaoke in Tokyo - but since I'm traveling alone I am not interested in a private room karaoke bar.
Are there places where you can sing for the entire bar?

Hi, there are plenty of places to go, but the one I know of is in a place called Hiroo. It's an english Kareoke place, has a stage where you sing in front of everyone. It's a good laugh and I'm sure you'll enjoy it and meet some people. There are many Japanese bars, but unless you know someone they are pretty difficult to find, as basically catering for Japanese only.

It's called ''SMASH HITS'' and the address is 5-2-26 B1 M2 Building Hiroo, Shibuya-ku Tokyo 150-0012 It's basically at the end of the road (across from Hoemworks Burgers), can't miss it as there is usually a sign out the front. Sing loud!
