Hi. Can anyone advise which is a better place to go to for scenic views or good experience? I have a choice of Kiyomizudera/Nanzenji or Arashiyama Hills/Hozugawa? Thanks!

Kiyomizudera/Nanzenji are temples.

If you want to see natural scenery, you head to Arashiyama and take a Hozugawa ship cruise. There are also nice views over Kyoto from both the monkey park and Okochi Sanso Villa:
