winter in furano & rusutsu

can you pls advise :
1) Based on past winter days, can i expect falling snow in 2nd week of March in Sapporo, Furano, Biei?
2) We have not ski before but would like to try it and do Dog sledding too. Which would you recommend- Furano or Rusutsu?

Based on past winter days, can i expect falling snow in 2nd week of March in Sapporo, Furano, Biei?
Below is the average depth of snow for March 10:
Sapporo: 65 cm
Furano: 54 cm
Biei: 66 cm
And is usual to still snow during that time of the year in all three places.
