Getting to mount omine? 2008/2/19 05:39
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get to sacred Mount Omine from tokyo, my friend and i are very keen to see and climb it when we go in may but are not really sure how to get there. Any help would be much appreciated.

Basic information 2008/2/20 19:52
The mountain is in Tenkawa village. Following is gA way to the villageh.

At first, go to Shin-Osaka. Take subway to Tennouji, and transfer to Kintetsu Minami-Osaka line. Kintetsufs station name is Osaka-Abenobashi. But both stations are near each other.
Get on a Limited express for Yoshino (reservation is needed). Get off Shimoichiguchi station. It takes about an hour, costs 1390 yen.
This is Kintetsufs website.

And you need ride Nara-kotsu bus from the station to the village(to “Vìì‡ stopH).
Please send e-mail to village office or tourist association to get detailed information (about bus, hotel and trail to mountain)
