My husband and I are going to Japan from 8th ~ 21st March, and will be in Tokyo area from 13th. We are both mad Rugby fans and sad that we'll be missing Six Nations while in Japan - are there any British/Irish pubs in Tokyo/Yokohama that will show Six Nations Rugby during 'normal' hours? (as matches live will be played early AM in Japanese time!)

The Aldgate, 3F Shin-Iwasaki Building, 30-4 Udagawa-cho Shibuya-ku,Tokyo. Telephone:03-3462-2983 They will be showing the games, times on the web site. Best British pub in Tokyo with 18 taps, including real ale, open until 2.00 am. Try the Baird IPA. http://www.the-aldgate.comHobgoblin, as in the UK Wychwood brewery. Three locations in Tokyo (Akasaka, Roppongi and Shibuya), all should be showing the rugby, check the "What's On" link on their web site: http://www.hobgoblin.jp/locations/index.asp?bar=4The Meguro Tavern will be showing some of the games, check the "Events Calendar" on the web site: http://www.themegurotavern.com/That should be enough for a pub crawl.

...you'll be in Tokyo for the England vs Ireland game. Do you really want to watch that in an Irish pub ;-)
Where are you on the 8th for the Scotland/England game?

Thanks guys, I'll definitely take a look at the pubs you've all recommended. I'm a Japan fan (Mum is Japanese) so I'll be a natural supporter, and I'm sure my husband can behave himself in an Irish pub even if England loses!
Cheers!

Try the HUB Pub, they got locations all over Tokyo, roppongi, shibuya, ikebukuro, etc - its like the Japanese version of a British sports pub.
