Ryokan with 2 small kids 2008/3/9 06:07
Stopping over in Tokyo for 5 days in early July with 7 & 10 year old. Cannot find hotel that allows 4 in one room and was looking for Ryokan since I think they would enjoy it, we plan to spend most of the time sightseeing anyway. Anybody have recommendations for decent place with fairly easy access from Narita and either onsen or public bath nearby or on premise?

Also any recommendations for sightseeing events? I lived in Japan for 5 years in early 90s so know my way around Tokyo & a little of the language, have planned Akihabara, Shibuya, Ginza & Yoyogi park on Sunday.

Tama Ryokan 2008/3/9 08:40
You can give the Tama Ryokan a try. It's close to Takadanobaba station on the Yamanote line.

If it's raining you can check out Aqua City and Venus Fort on Odaiba, two indoor shopping areas with a lot of space.
