Hello, am hoping to use the Seishun-18-Kippu to see Kyushu this spring. I live in Japan, speak Japanese pretty well and have used this ticket successfully before (to do Nagoya-Osaka-Shikoku-Hiroshima-Nagoya) and had a fantastic time. Am thinking that I'll take a ferry to Kyushu (Kita-Kyushu probably) and then ustilise the Seishun-18-Kippu over four or five days on the local trains of Kyushu. I'd be really pleased if someone out there could suggest some nice spots that I could see; some nice routes I could take. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Paul

I'm afraid local trains in Kyushu are very infrequent except Fukuoka Area. e.g. twice a day between Kagoshima and Oita prefectural border. You are likely to sometimes use the limited express or Shinkansen to save time depending on the local train's frequency.
