Shinjuku/Harajuku itinerary

Hi,

We will go to Shinjuku from Kuramae. We want to see Tokyo Metro building, Harajuku cosplay, Yoyogi park, and Suginami Animation museum(Ogikubo). Can you suggest the easiest route to view these sights?

Also, how far is the walk from Minowabashi to Ueno?

From Kuramae (E11) to Shinjuku take the Oedo subway line to Morishita (E13). Just 2 stops. At Morishita switch to the Shinjuku line (S09) and ride that to Shinjuku (S01), 8 stops. You can walk to Yoyogi, but it may be a little too far for some people. You can take the subway from Shinjuku (E27) on the Oedo 1 stop to Yoyogi (E26). Ogikubo(M01) can be reached from Shinjuku (M08) on the Marunochi line, 7 stops. In case, you don't know, the letter and number that i put for the subway stops are the labels you'll see in the subway stations and on maps.

If you want to see the cosplayers, be sure to go on a Sunday.

I'm not sure the walking distance from Ueno to Minowabashi though, sorry.
