Weather in May

I will be traveling to Japan at the end of May (from about the 20th til 31st).
I'm hoping someone can help me with what type of weather to expect during this time so I can pack accordingly. Will it still be relatively cold or will it already begin to get humid? Also how will the rain be during this time?
I will be in the Tokyo and Osaka areas of Japan. Thanks in advance!

How you feel the temperature is very subjective. Generally we have nice weather in May. I think I mostly wear a long-sleeved shirt but sometimes a half-sleeved T-shirt.
