I will be in Japan during May and have heard that men's business suits can be purchased for under 10,000 yen. Can anyone inform me if this is true? and if so where can I find these?

Price shows in the quality of course, but yes that is possible - for example at a chain store called "Perfect Suit FActory," if they have some stock of suits from one season earlier. Their regular price is in the range of 15,000 - 30,000 yen, though. They have many shop locations.
