Hi, ILm going to Japan in July this year. I was searching for a good website that could offer dates of psytrance rave parties near Tokyo, Shyzuoka and Kyoto. Can anyone help me?

I do not have a website that I could find through google with such information, You may find something at Japan's National Tourist Org. at www.jnto.go.jp
However, if you can find them, there are many good travel books from the "Eyewitness Travel" series, which often feature glossaries that rank hotels, restaurants, etc by price and whether handicapped accessible, etc. There is also a listing of some night clubs.
If you can get to Shibuya, the Atom (phone: 03 5428 5195) seems well ranked. Also in Shibuya is the La Fabrique (03 5428 5100).

Huge party scene in Japan

Japan gets tons of international DJs from all over. You can find many outdoor parties (raves) and indoor parties (clubs) throughout the Tokyo / Yokohama area. The outdoor parties usually take place on the beach or near Mt. Fuji. I think the Japanese put on some of the best outdoor parties in the world! Plus, after a long weekend of partying, there's nothing like sitting in a Japanese onsen (hotspring) to relax the achy muscles! This site provide some info: http://www.solstice23.com/Use google translator to translate into English. This is a 9 day event coming up during the total solar eclipse: http://www.totalsolareclipsefestival.jp/
