Buying washing powder for wool 2008/3/31 20:42
I have a machine washable suit, but it's made from wool blend. I don't understand any Japanese but have been trying to shop for some washing powder suitable for wool.

Can anyone give me tips on what to look for on the packaging that I can use with wool? I guess I'm looking for the japanese equivalent of non-biological?

I've seen some liquid packets with a wool mark on it, but I imagine that's just softner.

Thanks for your help!

Though these are biological, the top two washing liquid for wool easily available at any drugstores and supermarkets in Japan are "Emal" and "Acron."
See the packages on the following sites:

If worse comes to worse, you can just use shampoo. That goes for any natural products like leather or sheep skin jackets.

You could take it to any dry cleaner. They would be able to help you.
