i wonder if its cheaper to send a package inside a military base in japan? because my mom used to send me packages from japan and he lets someone from the base to send it here(US) for it to be cheaper. i wonder if its the same if im the one sending?

When you send a package to a base in Japan, you pay the same rate as sending a package to California. The military pays the rest of the way, from CA to Japan.
Sometimes, it takes a very long time for a package to get delivered to the base, so take that into consideration.

Yes, I'm way too sensitive about this. At the base post offices, they WILL check your ID card. If you get somebody else to do it for you, and you are technically not entitled, it's illegal.
