Do the staff of Hotel Asia Center of Japan allow 4 persons to live in a 3 persons room? Anyone has done that before? Thanks for any help.

In all the countries I have been it is understood that the number of people staying in a room cannot be greater than the number indicated by the hotels. When they say 1 it is 1, 2 is 2, 3 is 3 etc. and that's it. There are several good reasons for that: if too many families "cheated" by having more people in a room than allowed the hotel would loose money and how many businesses can afford it? BUT the main reason has to do with fire codes and fire safety. I work in the hospitality business (longer stay than hotels)and the fire department shows up without warning. Any infraction to the code-even a relatively minor one--is a serious offence that must be fixed within days or even at once, depending on what it is, or the place will be closed. If you can't afford 2 rooms for 4 people in a hotel of your choice then please look for a cheaper hotel. There are cheaper hotel internet booking agency that Asia center.
