trains Hachinohe to Hakodate ?

I have reservations on a shinkansen train from Tokyo Station to Hachinohe Station on Friday, 2 May during Golden week. I want to get a local express train from Hachinohe to Hakodate. Is there a way to reserve a seat on one of these local express trains ? Thank you so much for your suggestions and help.

Jody,
The "Super Hakucho" trains from Hachinohe to Hakodate are "limited express" trains. There is no such thing as a "local express", and there are no "local" (i.e. all-stations) trains on this route.
You can reserve seats on these trains at any major JR station in the same way as you presumably did for the shinkansen between Tokyo and Hachinohe. As it will be close to Golden Week, and trains are likely to be busier than usual, I would strongly recommend reserving as son as possible.
